Mt Thompson Memorial Gardens opened in 1934 and was Queensland's first crematorium. Mt Thompson provides a sanctuary where reflections and thoughts can flourish and resonate in a tranquil, inviting environment. It is a place of natural, landscaped beauty maintained by dedicated staff, a place where peace and privacy are cherished and respected.
To enhance and add to the service that we provide to our families, we have partnered with HeavenAddress Resting Place to make available an online photographic record of the memorials and their approximate location within the gardens. The task of recording the large number of memorials at Mt Thompson is ongoing and to-date more than 95,000 memorials have been photographed and their locations mapped.
Given the complexity in collating this information there may be omissions and errors that have been made when we have transcribed our records. If you are searching for a memorial plot and unable to find it at HeavenAddress Resting Place or if you discover errors in the information recorded, please use the following link to contact us.
Alternately if you have a photographic record of the memorial and it's location that you wish to upload, please use the following link to add your record to HeavenAddress Resting Place to provide family and friends the opportunity to visit a loved one for generations to come.
