Ryan, you were one of the best software developers I've ever worked with - and one of the best pranksters. You were brilliant, hilarious, cheeky, outspoken and a great friend to many of us in the office. You are dearly missed.

Everyone at Sitecore was shocked and saddened by the news of Ryan's passing. He was the true definition of a Sitecore MVP, constantly sharing his knowledge and helping his fellow developers to achieve success. More importantly though, he was a genuinely good guy. He was great fun to be around and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him in the Sitecore community. In Ryan's honour we will be opening the 2018 Sitecore MVP Summit in Orlando, that Ryan was scheduled to attend, with a minute of silence.

Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this very sad time.

I hadn't seen Ryan in a very long time, but my memories of him were he was certainly quick witted, intelligent and kind, who enjoyed keeping the women in his life on their toes with his cheek :) (Sandy, Ange, Bex and Geraldine). His family were extremely proud of his achievements, but his Mum Sandy, especially so. It is in this moment, in particular, I think of her.

When I told Briar what had happened she said, "I remember him, he was SUCH a nice boy, always kind to us and let us play with his coca cola collection", and 'nice' he certainly was. Sometimes I just don't think there are enough 'nice' people in the world, and now we've lost one.

Love and thoughts from my whanau to yours x x x

The team at Adept Group are deeply saddened to hear of Ryan's passing. During his short time with us between 2016 and 2017 as a Senior Developer he became a popular member of the team and was exceptional at his work. Ryans humour and approach to work quickly won over clients and was described as a rock star by many. He will truly be missed by us all and our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this very sad time. With deepest sympathy from the team at Adept Group.
