Dearly loved wife of Alvin. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Carlamia and Andrew, Keone and Al, Josh and Stacy. Loving grandmother of Lys, Corbyn, Luchian, Devon, Bonni and Wolfe, and beloved daughter of Walter (dec'd) and Ethel Johnston.

It has been an absolute pleasure Von.... 14years of friendship and some crazy work moments. You have always been there through thick and thin to support me and my whanau. It still hurts to know you have left us so unexpectedly, but thank you for all the beautiful and funny memories you have left with me. I will treasure those and the friendship. Until we meet again. Safe travels beautiful. With love.

Missing you so much Von and I know hearts are breaking all over the world for you, I still can’t comprehend not seeing you or hearing your cheeky laugh again. Im so glad we had such good times when you last came to NZ, those memories are so much more precious now. As a family we will celebrate you and your life forever.
