My Beautiful Friend Vickie,

Thirty years, you were my friend,
Laughing, smiling, to the end,
Good times shared, and bad times too,
Good girls, Bad girls, thru and thru,

Fun we had, when times were hard,
Drinks we drank, with no regard,
Reckless once we were indeed,
Any thing, to feed "The Need",

The need to laugh, the need to smile,
The need to feel good, for a while,
Misery could go to hell,
The good ole times, they served us well,

For in this world of pain and strife,
We did our best, with all our might,
To break the cycle, of doom and gloom,
And bring some light, into the room,

You my friend, have now moved on,
And I am left to sing the songs,
Sing them well, I'll have to try,
With you not there, I'm bound to cry,

But memories, I'll always have
Near and dear, good and bad,
Celebrate your life, I will,
Coz one you had, and one you will,

In the next life, now you are
Spreading laughter, near and far,
In the night sky, I will see
A star, that's looking down on me,

I'll know it's you, that's for sure,
Coz warm inside, I'll feel, and more
I'll raise a glass, and make a toast,
To my dear friend,
Vickie Middlemost.

Always & Forever
R.I.P Beautiful

Vickie we met while sweating our asses off at Curves working out to Tina Turner and Nutbush City. We became firm friends and I have treasured you, your friendship, your unconditional love and support since then.
I watched you fight so hard to stay with us but you grew tired.
I can still hear your voice and your laugh in my head but when I look around you're not there. Life is never going to be the same without you.
Love you babe xx
