Constance G Holling, nee Keesee, 73 of San Marcos, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2015 from complications from diabetes.The memorial service will be held at 10:30am on March 28, 2015 at the Lowman Chapel at First United Methodist Church in San Marcos. Pastor Jenna Heart of First United Methodist Church will be officiating.Constance was born in Huntington, WV on November 24, 1941. She graduated from Brazosport High School and continued on to receive a B.S. from Baylor University and a teaching certificate from Texas Lutheran University.Constance was married to Larry Holling on April 16, 1965; they were married 49 wonderful years.Constance worked as a teacher for Seguin ISD for 15 years. She enjoyed traveling and charity work when she was younger, reading, crafts and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed participating in Sunday School at her church up until the time of her illness.Constance is survived by her husband, Larry; brother, Arnold Keesee; son, James; daughters, Stephanie Holling, Dr. Jennifer Holling, and Katherine Friedel; grandchildren, Joseph and Jacob Holling, and many loving nieces and nephews.Constance is preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Doris Keesee, nee Carlisle.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association at http://www.diabetes.org/donate/.
