Dear Karen, Nathan, Jared and Ryan,
We are very heartbroken to have had this very very sad news.....Chris and all of you are very special to us as you have been such a special and generous family in both our's and our boys lives in particular. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time and sorry we cannot be there for your special service. We will have you in our minds and hearts at this time. We are so very glad we got to see Chris last time we were in Sydney, such a generous and kind person and we hope that together, you stay strong always. All our love from afar, Kelly and Grant Parnell

Karen and boys, very upset to hear such sad news. Chris had a dry and always funny sense of humour. Very generous and humble too. Always enjoyed his company on the touchline or at one of your many Dubai parties. Impossible to think about our time in UAE and not think of you all. Particularly liked to talk to Chris about the NRL and share his passion for his beloved Dragons. RIP Chris. Best wishes Tim Travers, Marie, James & Matthew
