On 29 March, 2019, we picked up “Pixie Floof”, from her doggie mum and dad’s place. We stopped at the hospital to show Cath and she was so happy to see her, and excited about coming home the next day to spend time with her!

I am absolutely stunned and shocked to have received the news today that Cath had passed away.
We go a long way back, meeting many moons ago at Kamahi School and continuing onto Taita Intermediate then Taita College. We have some amazing memories of growing up together. We reconnected again a lot of years later through Facebook and have kept in touch that way.
Am at a loss as to what to say, you just don’t expect to get messages with this sort of news for someone so young and full of life. Condolences go out to Ant, Dalton and Chris.
As I live in Australia I won’t be able to attend Cath’s funeral but my thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
Rest easy with the angels, your mum will be waiting for you xx

My memories of my loved niece Catherine Helen my namesake are her Kindness, creativeness and her loving and overly generous nature. Her quirky humour endeared her to many.
Her belief in angles will ensure she is protected a belief she shared with her loved mum Janet my sister.
Deepest sympathy to Chris and family at the loss of Catherine. May it help to know that others share your grief at her at sudden passing. With love from Aunty Helen

The last time I was in NZ & supposed to see you I had to cancel last minute. All for being too busy & caught up in the Christmas rush. You were lovely though & said “maybe next time”. But there won’t be a next time ever again.
.
Catherine, you were my sister, you were one of a kind and I wish I had told you more that I loved you. I'm just no good with that sort of thing. I'm an Everson after all.

I will miss you Catherine. I’m so sorry. x x x
