  • I visited the place 2 days ago here where we last departed in March 2015. We said goodbye and gave big hugs and you said you'd be back.
Thinking of you........it's been a year......
Chrystina Lui lit a candle for Louisa Ling
  • On the day that Lou passed, in her room at the hospice, as I communicated the news to family and friends, I was so overwhelmed by all the kindness, love and support flowing in back at me.

In this modern age, the different methods of communication are so many.

On that day and the days after, I had many phone calls, text messages, iPhone face time, Skype, Facebook messages, Facebook posts, cards, flowers and letters.

I needed a social media manager!

And I shouldn’t forget the kindness, love and generosity of those who posted and donated here on the heavenaddress page:

    www.heavenaddress.com/Louisa-Ling/1061438/

I have tried to convey my appreciation by return medium where I could. Obviously, the sheer volume meant that I may not have responded to you directly. I profusely apologise. It has not been because of any meanness on my part. These days have been overwhelming, organising things and then there is the on-going administration of Lou’s affairs that have kept me busy.

I would like to send you all, as best I can, a deep, sincere, huge, “THANK YOU”. I love you all.

You have touched my heart, and opened my eyes and mind to a quality of love and affection that I never realized existed to such a degree, within Lou’s family, social network, and even amongst our mutual friends.

I look forward to remaining your friend and offer you everything that I have to reciprocate in any way to help you, at any time, in any circumstance, just as you have helped me. Reach out. Make this a journey start, not a journey end.

  • Just 2 years ago in Sydney, we were reminiscing together about those good old YY days... Louisa, u will remain the most handsome and funky gal I'd ever met. Back when most of us were still figuring or hiding about who we really were, u were already proudly enjoying being u and living life to the fullest, unapologetic and in-your-face! U will always be an inspiration to us all, cos u r always ahead of the curve.
Miss V, so sorry for your loss. We all miss her dearly. But someday, I'm sure we will dance together again on the other side.

  • "And through it all she offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
    Whether I'm right or wrong
    And down the waterfall
    Wherever it may take me
I know that life won't break me
When I come to call, she won't forsake me
    I'm loving angels instead"
    - I know you're watching over us now...God Bless!!!
