  • Dear Long,
    We are sad to hear that you are no longer with us. When we last met a few years ago in Brisbane, you told us that you have found The Lord. We were very pleased for you. Our prayers are with you and the family. Rest in peace.
    Mr & Mrs Nghia Nguyen - Brisbane.

  • Dear Uncle Long,
    It still seems unreal that you are no longer with us. We hope that you are in a better place now and are happy as you should be. I will always remember when you lent me your lovely Matsuoka Classical guitar, only after you gave me a stirring rendition of "Classical Gas". I will always remember your generosity and kindness and we will miss you greatly.

    Lots of love always.

  • Dear Anh Long,
    We were first met 31 years ago at your eldest brother Tri's wedding in NZ. You were certainly a handsome prince who had obtained education from France. You were a very private and quiet individual. Unfortunately, we had to meet up in Singapore like this. Our deepest condolences to the Pham family. May our prayers will give you the strength to cope with the loss.

  • Truly a man of few words who would not bother others with his problems. Gentle and soft spoken. He loves his art and music, leaving behind his ‘spare’ guitars wherever he goes.

    He came to seek the Lord. “I want to trust the Lord and let Him teach me” are his words that I remember Long saying on many occasions.

    He did. He believed in God and received confirmation with signs following.
    Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

    He learned to have hope in the Lord and trusted the Lord to provide in his difficult times. He is now asleep but the day will come when we shall meet again.
    1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
